Price: 50 Euro/person - includes 20 Euro donation for the House (minimum number of participants: 5 persons)

Visit Ferenczi’s unique and inspiring original office in his beloved former Villa, where he spent the last days of his life. The house now gives place to Sándor Ferenczi Museum, Archive and Library, a Center which offers a suitable place for professional preservation and display of documents of cultural and historic value and provided research opportunities for professionals with special interests. At the same time this Center would also serve as a training and therapeutic centre opening its doors to professionals, and visitors in Hungary, Europe and overseas. Transportation by bus and onsite English-speaking guide are included.

Sightseeing Tour in Budapest

An approximately 4-hour long sightseeing tour, which shows the most attractive features of the capital. The participants can take the opportunity also to visit the impressive Hungarian House of Parliament where the Coronation Regalia can be seen, or the World Heritage site Castle district with its famous Fishermen’s Bastion and Matthias Church. Transportation by bus, with English-speaking guide, refreshment in a coffee house and all entrance fees are included.

The Jewish Sights of Budapest

A three-hour long walking tour in the world’s second largest Synagogue and its surrounding including an inside visit of the Synagogue complex (Jewish Museum, ghetto and World War II area history). The Synagogue and the nearby Jewish quarter have a very rich history. By the end of the 18th century the Jewish people were allowed to leave the Buda side of the city and they create this area known as the Jewish quarter of Budapest on the Pest side. Transportation by bus, English-speaking guide, entrance fees and refreshment included.

Budapest Bath Tour

A tour to the Széchenyi bath, which is located in the city park of Budapest and is the largest thermal bath in Europe (18 pools). The Széchenyi bath is supplied by two thermal water sources with a temperature of 23°C to 38°C. The bath was built in 1913 in Neo-baroque style and is named after István Széchenyi who was a Hungarian politician, theorist and writer in the 19th century. (Please do not forget to bring appropriate swimming suite with yourselves.)

Danube Bend Tour (Szentendre-Artists’ Village, Visegrád)

Sunday, June 3rd, 15.00-21.00
Price: 65 Euro/person (Minimum number of participants: 15 persons)

The half-day program includes visiting the picturesque Visegrád, which was the seat of the Hungarian King since medieval times, exploring the ruins of the old Royal Palace and the medieval fortress. On the way back to Budapest we stop at Szentendre, which is a small picturesque art village on the Danube bank, 10 kms to the North of Budapest. After a walk through the baroque centre of the town, visit to the ceramics museum and finally visit of the open-air village museum. Transportation by bus, English-speaking guide, entrance fees and dinner are included.

Cancellation Policy of the Optional Programs and Tours
All the cancellations and changes must be sent to CongressLine Ltd. in written form. All refunds will be processed within 2 weeks (if all relevant data and information received in time). Please send your exact bank account details in the written cancellation.
Refund of the optional tours will be made as follows:

  • 100% refund (minus an administrative fee of 10 Euro) - in case of cancellation received, before May 10th, 2012.
  • No refund - in case of cancellation received, after May 10th, 2012
  • If the tour is not completed, the entire fee will be refunded.
