Accommodation

Hotel booking deadline: 20 August, 2014 – after this deadline accommodation cannot be guaranteed. Hotel reservations are on a first come first served basis through the Symposium Office.

Reservation

Reservation will be made only on pre-payment and should be sent online or in written form on the Registration Form.
Upon receipt of the reservation and payment, each participant will receive a confirmation from the Conference Office by email. Any modification requests should be sent to Conference Office. Once modified on-site, the actual final cost of the stay and the extras should be paid directly at the hotel reception upon departure.

Hotel prices are indicated in Euro per single/double room per night, including breakfast and all taxes. Please note: if you visit different hotel reservation sites on the web (booking sites or hotels’ own sites), please consider that the prices listed there are generally do not include all the local taxes and breakfast costs.

During this evening sightseeing tour on the River Danube, you will be welcomed with a drink and enjoy a hungarian dinner served on the boat. During dinner a gipsy band plays the classics. The boat travels from Margaret Bridge, past the National Theatre and along the Palace of Arts, a truly unique way to enjoy the glittering sites of illuminated Budapest.

Price: 65 Euro/person (Minimum number of participants: 10)

This half-day program includes visiting the picturesque Visegrád, the seat of the Hungarian King since medieval times, and exploring the ruins of the old Royal Palace and the medieval fortress. On the way back to Budapest, we stop at Szentendre, which is a small art village on the Danube bank, 10 km to the North of Budapest. After a walk through the baroque centre of the town, the tour will visit the ceramics museum and end with a tour of the open-air village museum. Transportation by bus, English-speaking guide, entrance fees and lunch are included.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations should be sent to Symposium Secreteriat in written form.

Refund of the registration fee will be made as follows:

  • 100% refund (minus 50 EUR administrative fee) in case of cancellation received
    before 15 July, 2014
  • No refund in case of cancellation received after 15 July, 2014
